MINI & MODEL ASSEMBLIES

As part of its advocacy and education outreach, PDLA engages the public in model and mini-assemblies. Model assemblies take registrants through a 3-4 hour deliberation process about a real or fictional issue. Mini Assembly applicants undergo a stratified randomization process to select a final panel reflecting municipal demographics. A mini assembly panel will deliberate for 6-8 hours about a real issue, and will hear expert testimony.
