On December 13, PDLA will convene a mini-assembly on L.A charter reform at Institute of Contemporary Art in downtown LA. 40 Angelenos reflecting Los Angeles demographics will hear from experts and deliberate on questions involving L.A's governing document. SIGN UP HERE

On June 7, 2025, PDLA staged a model assembly for 40 panelists at Culver City Veterans Memorial Building. The participants heard from experts and deliberated rebuilding Los Angeles after the recent devastating fires in Alta Dena and Pacific Palisades.

Neighborhood Congress Assembly.png

In September 2024 at City Hall, PDLA put on a model assembly for Neighborhood Congress, a gathering of representatives of Neighborhood Councils from all over the city. Participants deliberated how to develop affordable housing in Harmony Heights.
